Sea-Dweller DRSD 1665 — Double Red · Double Red Mark 2
“Submariner 2000” printed smaller than “Sea-Dweller”, so the “D” of Sea-Dweller sits over the “I” of Submariner; same short-fingered coronet as Mark 1. Exists with thin print and with a fatter print laid red over white. Some have turned chocolate brown. The standard dial of the 1.7 million watches and of the first COMEX deliveries.
Dated examples: 1758321 (thin case, catalogued c. 1967 by Antiquorum; Perezcope dates 1.7 million assembly to 1970–71), 3'515'184 (1973, Phillips).
