166.077, Mark 1
Seamaster PloProf 166.077 — 166.077, Mark 1
1971–?
First production version, delivered from April 1971, with “600” alone on the dial. A later dial variant places “600” between “Seamaster” and “Professional”, introduced after COMEX found the first dials too light.
HODINKEE notes that over 60% of PloProfs serviced at Omega in Bienne had swapped movements, and that service dials, hands and bezels are common.
