Cartier Paris
Tank Cintrée — Cartier Paris
1921–?
The original Cintrée, designed, made and sold in Paris in the early 1920s. Cases were first made in the Paris workshop around Swiss movements; later Jaeger delivered complete watches. Movements, even when signed European Watch & Clock Co. (the Cartier–Jaeger joint venture), were made by Jaeger. The first versions had a tall, pointed sapphire cabochon.
