First Series, Double Swiss
Cosmograph Daytona 6239 — First Series, Double Swiss
Earliest dials reused stamps from earlier chronographs; the wider bezel hid the original “Swiss”, so it was printed a second time. Paired with the 300-unit bezel carrying a 275 numeral, thin seconds hand and slightly longer hands; casebacks may be stamped 6238.
About 14,000 made, a few hundred of them in gold, per auction and collector estimates.
