Second Batch
Early Chronographs (pre-Daytona) Monoblocco 3525 — Second Batch
Wartime batch with serials in the mid-100,000s, still numbered on the case back. Dials are multi-scale (tachymeter and telemeter); black gilt and salmon dials both occur. Three stars stamped above the case number appear on some, for unknown reasons.
Serial batches around 40'xxx–50'xxx, mid-100'000 and mid-300'000 (Phillips). Patrizzi and Cappelletti estimate about 200 steel examples in total (cited by HODINKEE).
