Sector Dial
Calatrava 96 — Sector Dial
Undated
Concentric hour and minute sectors, among the earliest 96 dials (a 1934 “96 SC” sector dial inspired the modern ref. 5296). 44 yellow-gold sector dials with indirect centre seconds are known; steel sector-dial 96s are the most sought after.
Cases by Antoine Gerlach (precious metals) and Taubert (steel). The long “Patek Philippe & Co./Cie” signature gives way to the short signature around 1948.
