Vertically brushed slate-grey dial with no hour markers — only a gold Cartier logo, “Swiss” at six and the date window — so the print seems to vanish into the surface; blue cabochon crown. Much rarer than the white dial.
Dated examples: one from 1988 (Goldammer); a serial 29611… example dated to the mid-1980s (Bulang & Sons).
