25554ST (Italian series)
Royal Oak Triple Serial 25554 — 25554ST (Italian series)
Reserved for Italy’s new distributor Alessandro Villa. Each case was taken from the 5402ST D series, so the back carries a D number (D1449 onwards) as well as a 25554 small number (1–50), hence “triple serial” with the inner case number. Delivered with a matt grey dial; the press photo’s shiny-rimmed subdials and a rare black dial appear only in AP documents.
46 delivered: 45 in 1985 (February–December) and 1 in 1990. Example: D1495 / no. 46, produced 5 December 1985.

Audemars Piguet 2120/2800
Perpetual calendar (day, date, month, moon phase, no leap-year display) formed by the 2120 base and the 2800 under-dial module made by Dubois Dépraz; the thinnest automatic perpetual calendar of its time. First used in model 5548 (1978), in the Royal Oak from 1984. An openworked 2120/2800SQ followed in 1982.
