Phillips describes a manually wound L901.1 and a signed bracelet; its suggestion of an original-owner special request remains an auction-house assessment.
Phillips dates this example to circa 1998. It belongs to the 100-watch yellow-gold edition; the number made on bracelets is not established. The catalogue lists the bracelet as 18K yellow gold but the deployant clasp as 18K white gold; that component description is retained as attributed evidence, without assuming it is a typo or proving the clasp’s material from colour. The described 165 mm bracelet length and accompanying papers are specimen-specific, historical observations.
