Black and Gold, Square Registers
Black dial with gold-coloured square registers, white hands and a day-date display in a 40 mm steel case. The dealer uses the collector nickname John Player Special. The photographed back reads 6138-8039; the listing’s reused Bullhead 0049 URL does not identify this watch.
Dealer specimen attribution: 1976, partly masked serial 69XXXX. The dealer records light past polishing, matching patinated luminous material and a Seiko bracelet. These are attributed specimen observations, not production bounds, an all-original-component guarantee or proof of an official racing-team association.
Separate day and date indications appear together on the documented dial; language wheels and originality are specimen-specific.
Gold-coloured square chronograph registers contrast with the black dial. The colour scheme does not establish an official racing-team relationship.

Seiko 6138 family
Automatic day-date chronograph family with elapsed-hour and 30-minute counters. The exact A/B movement suffix, jewel count and originality of fitted components require specimen-specific evidence; none is inferred from a case reference alone.
