Mark IV Dial
Explorer II Freccione 1655 — Mark IV Dial
Taller, narrower coronet, and “T SWISS T” replaced by “T SWISS < 25 T” in a serif font. Most thin-numeral bezels went to this Mark, though many also carry the centred thick-numeral bezel.
Five production dial Marks plus two service dials (tritium and Luminova), four types and two seconds hands. Sold slowly; a 1983 example sat at its retailer for six years. Dated case numbers run from about 2.7M (1971) to about 8.27M (c. 1984).
