Solo Rolex
Cosmograph Daytona 6240 — Solo Rolex
Only “Rolex” on the dial, without “Cosmograph” or “Oyster”. Thought to have been fitted to a small number of early 6240s in the 1.2–1.4 million serial range; black dials with white registers are recorded. Fewer than a handful surfaced in decades of auctions, and fakes are known.
Estimated at approximately 1,700 examples.
