Steel, Arabic Dial (Restored Example)
Chronograph Sommatore 5161A — Steel, Arabic Dial (Restored Example)
Steel snapback chronograph with a silvered Arabic-numeral dial and red central elapsed-minute hand. Sotheby’s explicitly reports restoration to the dial and probable earlier light case polishing. The photograph documents this restored example, without establishing an untouched factory dial configuration.
Sotheby’s catalogues the watch circa 1945, movement 6,889,777 and case 23,021, with an archive invoice to Wirth in Switzerland on 27 November 1945. Its condition report says the chronograph did not reset to zero at cataloguing. No present running-condition guarantee or complete execution range is inferred.

Movement
Longines 13ZN-12
Central-minute configuration of the manually wound 13ZN family, with separate central elapsed-second and elapsed-minute hands plus a twelve-hour register. Specialist sources distinguish it from split-seconds chronographs and state that it lacks flyback; the base 13ZN name alone does not establish this configuration.
