Pink Gold, Cuervo y Sobrinos Respiration Dial
Chronograph Sommatore 5161 — Pink Gold, Cuervo y Sobrinos Respiration Dial
Pink-gold snapback case with rectangular pushers, Cuervo y Sobrinos retailer signature and a red scale labelled for five respirations. The auction text calls it a pulsation scale, but the photographed dial reads respirations. A proposed doctor’s special order remains auction-house speculation.
The auction records movement and case number 7,012,873. Its 2018 archive extract confirms invoicing on 3 November 1947 to Cuervo in Cuba; that delivery record does not independently prove the current retailer signature’s originality or define a production span.
Identifying details

Movement
Longines 13ZN-12
Central-minute configuration of the manually wound 13ZN family, with separate central elapsed-second and elapsed-minute hands plus a twelve-hour register. Specialist sources distinguish it from split-seconds chronographs and state that it lacks flyback; the base 13ZN name alone does not establish this configuration.
