Post-1984 Replacement Dial (White or Black)
Mark XI 6B/346 — Post-1984 Replacement Dial (White or Black)
Not an IWC dial: made for a dealer who bought MoD surplus watches without dials in 1984. Brass, so no magnetic shield; two-line “International Watch Co.” print, no broad arrow, no luminous batons, white seconds hand and no short hour hand. Mostly white, fewer in black.
At least 7,400 IWC watches for the RAF; IWC records identify more than 8,000 military movement numbers, with about 600 more thought to await confirmation (Horological Journal 2004).
