Tank Asymétrique 2488

The 1996 relaunch that gave the model its Tank Asymétrique name, issued two years before the Collection Privée Cartier Paris. Compact 24 × 34 mm case close to the 1936 proportions, Piaget-origin ultra-thin 9P2. Dial with guilloché centre, printed Arabic numerals and baton indexes as on the original, blued hands and a discreet “Paris” signature above six.
One numbered limited edition of 400: 300 in yellow gold and 100 in platinum. The same reference was used for the 1999 Macau edition of 99.
