All-steel Santos Carrée, 29 mm, steel bezel and back each held by eight screws, protected octagonal crown with sapphire cabochon, white dial with painted Roman numerals and secret signature in the VII, blued épée hands and date, on the integrated steel bracelet.
Dated examples: one sold new in August 1978 (cal. 076, case no. 296001049); others catalogued as made in the 1980s; a 30 mm example of 1985.

- Screwed bezel
Bezel fixed by visible screws (eight on the Santos), a decorative signature as much as a fastening.
- Screw-link bracelet
Integrated metal bracelet whose links carry visible screws echoing the bezel, introduced on the Santos in 1978.
- Secret signature
“Cartier” hidden in a stroke of one of the Roman numerals.
