The first GMT-Master II. A thicker case, wider bezel and larger crown guards made room for cal. 3085 and earned the nicknames “Fat Lady” and “Sophia Loren”. Steel only, with the first red-and-black “Coke” bezel. First GMT with a sapphire crystal and white-gold index surrounds.
