The archetypal vintage Day-Date: fluted bezel, 36 mm gold or platinum case, acrylic crystal, pie-pan dial with baton markers and hands, and a hollow-link President bracelet. Uses the 1555 then the 1556, neither with a quickset. gave way to around 1963–64. Replaced by the 18038.
