Louis Cartier’s refinement of the Tank Normale: rounded case sides, slim crossbars in place of a broad bezel and an oblong dial. A Cartier Archives ledger entry of 30 September 1922 records it as the “Tank aux bords arrondis”; it took the Louis Cartier name in 1924. Made by Cartier Paris and also retailed and produced through London and New York.
