Tank Chinoise
1922–?9 variants
The original Chinoise: a square Tank case with raised bars above and below the dial that lie over the vertical brancards and form the lugs. Dials follow the Tank pattern of the period — Roman numerals, blued hands, cabochon crown. Cases are mostly yellow gold; platinum examples are very rare. Among the scarcest of the early Tank variants.
No reference number: early Cartier wristwatches are identified by model name and case numbers. Produced in very small numbers in the 1920s and 1930s.
