Heuer’s first named chronograph line (AUTomobile + AVIAtion), introduced in 1962 under Jack Heuer and made into the mid-1980s in almost 90 models and executions, all in steel (or coated) cases with a rotating bezel. Manual screw-back and compressor cases of the 1960s gave way in 1969 to C-shaped automatic Calibre 11/12/15 cases, manual Valjoux C-case models, GMTs and the 1983 11063 series.
