Panthère de Cartier
Square bracelet watch launched in 1983 and produced until its discontinuation in the early 2000s, when it was among Cartier’s defining ladies’ watches; revived in 2017. The case has a bezel held by eight pins or screws, an octagonal crown with a sapphire cabochon and a supple gold or steel link bracelet. Most were quartz, in yellow gold, steel and gold, steel or white gold, often diamond-set. The name recalls the panther motif Cartier adopted in 1914.
